gala_applesHi, Holly_Poly creator! Thanks for writing/drawing for me. My Things I Like lists tend to be pretty long but I hope they're not obnoxiously so. Rifle through and pluck out the bits that sound interesting :)
In general: I'd rather have an in character conversation/world build than an unoffensive conversation/world build. This probably goes mostly for Stranger Things, but I mean it for any of the fandoms. Misogyny, racism, homophobia- if the characters would face it, write it.
I'm okay with more tame fic, but I do love explicit stories. If you do aim for a higher rating, I quite like nearly any kink. Some of my favourites are makeshift bondage (like ties or clothes pushed half off to restrict movement) public teasing into being turned on, making people blush, dirty talk, marks of ownership (not necessarily hardcore like collaring, though that's great, having a bracelet to wear or a string of hickies work too) drunk/high sex, BDSM, and overstimulation. But really, if you wanted to go for any kink I'd be happy. My only limit is no guro/vore.
Note: massages are a trigger of mine. It's really upsetting to read them. I'm okay with dub-con (whether due to manipulation or intoxication), but straight up non-con is not enjoyable. I also have phobias of fire/burning alive, stuff happening to eyeballs or teeth, and condiments.
More specifically:
Crazy Ex Girlfriend: I’d love a post series fic where Rebecca and Greg and Nathaniel realise polyamory is the best solution. I loved Rebecca/Nathaniel on the show, their ruthlessness and blatant sexuality (and to be honest, loved the occasional Harry Potter references), but I also loved s4 Greg as a character. I remember arguing with my best friend every week about what should/would happen. I also totally love basically every character, so anyone you want to add in as a foil is great.
Stargate Atlantis: I love the tropes of this fandom so much. Satedaen/Athosian cultures being different than Earths, and polyamory being an accepted or even primary relationship model. I love scared but secretly kinky closeted John, and bitchy DADT-is-for-idiots-I’m-Canadian Rodney. I love both keep-it-hidden-on-random-planet, and Atlantis becomes it’s own free nation and no one cares what AR-1 does styles. Ronon is my favourite character, but I love them all. I like Carson and Radek being there for Rodney, and Lorne being there for John.
Teen Wolf:
-Allison/Isaac/Scott- Maybe this is bad, but I love the PTSD. The histories of child abuse/gaslighting. The mental breakdowns. I’m not saying I want a super bleak fic, but I like how these three fractured people found other people to love them. I don’t ship any of them WITH Chris, but I like him being a present good father for Allison and a mentor for Isaac and Scott, so him being mentioned would be cool.
-Allison/Scott/Stiles- I still like some of the same angsty stuff, broken people finding each other, but also the backbone of certain friendship that is Scott/Stiles. No matter what happens, they’ve got each other’s backs. I’d love fluid sexualities and no labels and kink explorations and stoned sex. Also, no need to figure out an elaborate s3 fixit, Allison can just be alive.
-Danny/Jackson/Stiles- I hadn’t considered the ot3 before seeing this tag but dunno I just think it would be hot? Jackson’s so fragile and I imagine deep Danny/Jackson codependency. If it’s early seasons, I can see Jackson pulling the ‘I’m not gay I’m with Lydia and a million other girls, me and Danny just suck dick sometimes’ card. The unstability of Stiles into all of it could be very interesting.
Stranger Things: If we matched on El/Will/Mike, I love how much of a caretaker Mike always is. Taking care of people who need him is such a crucial component of his psyche, I could see it taking a dom/sub tilt when they got older and sexualised. Like everyone else watching s3, I imploded mentally when Mike shouted it’s not my fault you don’t like girls, and Will’s destruction of Club Byers. I’d love any kind of dealing with your sexuality, figuring out who you are kind of thing (including Will thinking he’s gay and then slowly realising he likes El). Alternatively, an established pairing fic where there’s some kind of hurt/comfort, and domesticity is also lovely.
If we matched on Steve/Jonathan/Nancy, all three seasons have a very different vibe, but I love s1 Steve buying Jonathan the camera and all three sort of seducing each other, s2 breaking up/infidelity/needing more angstfic, and s3 Robin’s enlightened Steve, Jonathan doesn’t move away fic. These three are my traumatised babies who can’t let go of each other despite it maybe being healthier to.
Sense8: I love Wolfgang, Rajan and Kala's dynamic together, so fucking much. Wolfgang is such a loner type, that when he tells Rajan other people wouldn't have done for him what he did and they're FRIENDS now, ugh. Even if you don't triangle ship them, only v-poly, they dance together at the wedding and I completely headcanon that Felix and Wolfgang and Rajan all hang out. And the way Rajan just wants to be a good husband, and genuinely means that in a 'what supports Kala' way, not in any traditional sense, fucking bless his soul. And Kala, struggling with it and the concept of secretly being "bad", and maybe that's okay...
Basically, I just want them to hang out and date and fuck. If you only subscribe to v-poly that's fine, but the final orgy scene had Wolfgang and Rajan kissing AND I DIED, so if you want to write triangle poly that's lovely too. (also, mild headcanon of felix/wolfgang having on and off extremely casual bro-sex. so if Rajan wants to have an OMG KINDA GAY revelation I'd understand it more than Wolfgang one? But you write what makes you happy) Also, I love the background ot8. If you felt like writing a snippet of a orgy within Rajan/Kala/Wolfgang that’d be rad as hell.
